This Polar Bear wildlife art piece came from a splash of navy flicked across the canvas board and then a couple of thin glazes of turquoise paint spread with a scraper with a few snow touches here and there to hopefully achieve that 'translucent' ice-like feel.  It's perilous out there for Polar Bears when the sea ice is melting due to climate change and they are forced to hunt either further afield, or gravitate towards human habitation.

Piece could be hung in any orientation you best liked - hence the two different directional photographs.
