NEW ADULT ART CLASSES STARTING IN WISBOROUGH GREEN!
Would you like to improve your drawing and painting skills, have fun exploring techniques in a small, friendly, professional artist-led course?
I hold a weekly art class every Thursday 2 - 4.30pm in my lovely village, Wisborough Green, West Sussex, UK. We are currently concentrating on drawing for five weeks as that is fundamental for any art practice, but will progress to try various mediums, including exploring watercolour, acrylics and mixed media. Places are extremely limited as I like to give each student as much one-on-one teaching as possible - this will be a non-judgemental, go at your own pace course with lots of encouragement (and homemade cake!).
All materials will be provided for you, although you are of course, welcome to bring any supplies of your own you wish. My goal is for you to have the confidence and belief in your own art, or to expand your knowledge of wherever you are with your practice. Beginners are very welcome!
The full five week courses are £130, but you can also 'drop-in' on a class for any of those weeks for £28 per session.

Starting at the end of June, I have a new online monthly drawing workshop (dates TBC), with absolutely all abilities from 'I can't draw a straight line!' to 'I'd like to improve my skills' being welcome. I have taught both online and in person many times over the years and would be extremely happy to help you get over any nerves you have about drawing, or for those at a more advanced stage, help in improving your overall art ability.
To make sure I'd get to speak to you properly and give you that one-to-one tuition, places will be limited and the workshops will be for two hours online via Zoom in the evening so it allows for students to join from differing time zones. The workshops will be £25 per session. We will be concentrating on drawing different animals in each monthly session and I will send out a list of what these will be before the first session - that way if you wish to join in on a particular animal subject you can, or of course, you could do them all!
I'll provide you with reference photos to use which you can print out beforehand (and yes, absolutely, you can provide your own reference if you wish, but it is always preferable to have all students studying the same image if possible), alongside a sheet of information on materials, what to expect and extra helpful hints and tips. You literally have to turn up with a pencil, or any other drawing implement of your choice, a sheet of paper and get drawing!
