Two African Wild Dogs aka Painted Wolves look closely into the distance.  What have they spotted: friend or foe?  Using a very limited palette, these packmates were painted from recollection of watching a pack and their complete awareness of their surroundings, forever on alert.

Gelli plate printed papers add texture to the backgrounding and I wanted to compliment that with broad brushstrokes that add to the abstract realism feel of the piece.
