58/100 - Golden light Polar Bear

This Polar Bear started out with a much lighter background, but as I worked into his coat and the incredible lighting throughout, felt he needed a more dramatic backdrop.  Bold strokes towards the foreground compliment the scraped, more abstract mountainous feel to his distant environment.  

Acrylic, ink and Gelli plate printed collage papers on thick paper, approximately A4 size 21 x 29.7cms with a white border.
