57/100 - Polar Bear Study

Loved playing with the coldness of the blue and hint at warmth through this Polar Bear's coat set in an abstract completely made up background.  Printed papers are perfect for creating random rock-like shapes and forms and this Polar Bear's base was created using this technique.  

Gelli plate printed collage papers and acrylic on thick paper 8" x 11.75"/29.5 x 20.8cms (just slightly under A4) with a 1cms white border. 

Please note, some of the collaged paper extends into this border at the bottom.
